The Massey University China Alumni Committee Salon & University-Enterprise Exchange Conference was held in SIP on Oct 26, connecting academic resources with industries’ needs.

The representatives from a number of companies in SIP participated in the event, exchanging opinions on university-enterprise collaboration and regional technology innovation with the participating Massey University alumni.
Tere McGonagle-Daly, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Students and Global Engagement at Massey University, which is based in New Zealand, gave the participants a specific introduction to the university’s achievements in applied research, and expressed desire to enhance collaboration with companies in SIP.

The Massey University Alumni China Liaison Office and the Qingmei Innovation and Entrepreneurship Base for Overseas Returnees were inaugurated, marking a new phase of the cooperation between Massey University and Suzhou in talent cultivation and innovation.

After the meeting, the Massey University delegation visited the exhibition hall of SIP’s biotech hub BioBAY, the co-innovation center for multinationals and the Massey University Alumni China Liaison Office, learning more details about SIP’s industrial layout and channels for international cooperation.
