SIP hosted an event at Weiting Sub-district Local Elderly Service Center on Oct 29 to celebrate the Chongyang Festival, a traditional Chinese festival for the elderly. The Chongyang Festival, reckoned on the ninth day of the ninth month on the Chinese lunar calendar, is also known as Double Ninth Festival.
A series of considerate initiatives were unveiled during the event, designed to advance the construction of an age-friendly society and improve local older residents’ sense of happiness and fulfillment.

A highlight was the launch of SIP’s first “Wellness Bus” route, which connects communities with nearby hospitals and shopping spots for the convenience of the seniors.
A mini program was put into service to provide one-stop online services for the aged.

The Jiuling Art Gallery officially opened, debuting with an exhibition of art works that vividly convey the positive spirit, love for life and enduring artistic pursuit of the elderly.
Concurrently, the 1st SIP Old & Young Fun Games kicked off, featuring activities like Sudoku, chess and singing suitable for both seniors and children.
